A Computer Science degree teaches students about both the theoretical and practical programming of computers. Students who choose to get a degree in computer science will receive a firm foundation in computing skills such as Unix, software design and professional issues in software engineering. Graduates of this course will find careers as computer programmers or technical writers to name a few. These positions will be found in computer software companies as well as almost any private or governmental organization within their information systems department.
